This is a simulation of the ancient Greek device dating back two millennia, accidentally discovered a century ago on a shipwreck near the island of Antikythera.

The crank input can be controlled by the point slider at the bottom, enabling clockwise and anti-clockwise motion at varying speeds. Use the click-drag and mouse-scroll functions to navigate in and around the mechanism. Another point slide is also available at the side for panning vertically. The Egyptian Calendar dial can be rotated using the + - controls on the bottom left of the screen.

Two viewing modes are available for selection at the top; perspective and orthographic, which enables a split screen in order to view both the front and the rear of the mechanism simultaneously. Exterior and Interior modes are also available, with the interior mode enabling inspection of the complex gearing structure inside.

The date on the mechanism has been hypothetically set at the beginning of the Callippic cycle, although this may not be the original setting on the device.
